Hey there,

Fresh from Barcelona, here are the updates that matter for your teams right now.

Cloud migration momentum: 98% of customers already on the move

Atlassian revealed at Team ’25 Europe that 98% of customers have already started their journey to Cloud, putting growing pressure on those still operating on Data Center. With Atlassian’s Data Center product support ending in 2029, organizations that remain on-prem now face rising subscription costs and the challenge of explaining why a Cloud transition hasn’t been planned earlier. In contrast, customers who have already committed to Cloud benefit from attractive incentives such as dual licensing, dedicated migration support, and financial programs designed to make the move smoother and more cost-effective.

Confluence will support up to 250 users on the same instance

Atlassian has officially announced general availability for Confluence Cloud sites supporting up to 250,000 users, marking a major leap in scalability for large enterprises. This milestone shows Atlassian’s commitment to making Cloud the home for even the biggest customers, ensuring performance and reliability at massive scale. Atlassian shared as well that Mercedes-Benz do now have around 50.000 seats in the Cloud showing how important and critical is Atlassian becoming to support modern and technology driven organizations.

Isolated Cloud coming in 2026 for maximum data control

Atlassian announced that Isolated Cloud will be generally available in 2026, offering dedicated single-tenant environments for enterprises that need maximum data control and compliance. This new option combines the security of on-prem with the scalability and innovation of Atlassian Cloud.

Business Units bring flexible governance to Atlassian Cloud

Atlassian is introducing Business Units to give enterprises more flexibility in managing users, data, and policies across different parts of their organization. This new capability lets admins segment environments by department, region, or subsidiary while maintaining centralized visibility and governance in Atlassian Cloud.

Rovo is everywhere

Search in Jira is getting a big upgrade with Rovo as the default, rolling out by early 2026. Rovo Chat now remembers preferences, has a Canvas for co-creating content, and more than 100 Skills to take action. Desktop and Mobile apps are on the way, and you can even run Atlassian-hosted LLMs for tighter data control. (atlassian.com)

Third-party agents join the Teamwork Collection to collaborate like humans

Atlassian is opening the door for third-party AI agents inside the Teamwork Collection, allowing tools from partners like Canva, Box, GitHub, Cursor, and Databricks to be assigned to Jira tickets just like real teammates. These agents can take action, update work, and collaborate across Jira and Confluence using the Teamwork Graph, turning AI from a passive assistant into an active contributor within your projects.

Teamwork Collection keeps teams in sync

You can now spin up first drafts in Confluence with Create with Rovo, use new project management skills in Jira, assign tasks to agents like Rovo Dev or even third-party agents from partners such as Canva, Box, Databricks and GitHub, plus capture knowledge with new Loom features and audio briefings. (atlassian.com)

Software Collection is your AI-native SDLC

Rovo Dev is GA and works across IDE, CLI, Bitbucket and GitHub to accelerate coding and reviews. DX joins to give leaders real visibility into productivity and AI impact. (atlassian.com)

Service Collection brings AI to every service team

Jira Service Management plus the new Customer Service Management app and Assets, all powered by Rovo. Data Manager is now GA to clean and reconcile asset data from over 20 sources. (atlassian.com)

Strategy Collection connects priorities to people and spend

New Funds and Strategic Events help you see where money goes and adjust plans quickly, with Rovo summaries built in. (atlassian.com)

Data where you need it

The Databricks Query Runner lets you ask questions in Confluence and get live, traceable results from Databricks. Jira support is coming later this year, and a Databricks Connector for Rovo search is on the way. (atlassian.com)

Ops gets smarter

New AIOps partnerships with Dynatrace, New Relic and BigPanda feed observability into Rovo Ops and JSM so incidents are detected and resolved faster, with PIRs generated in Confluence. (atlassian.com)

Why this matters for builders and apps

Rovo Studio builds on Forge, so you can design agents, automations, and even no-code apps that run securely with Teamwork Graph context. Forge Skills let you expose your app’s actions to Rovo, and Teamwork Graph connectors expand the data Rovo can use. If you want to pilot custom skills or agents, we can help. (atlassian.com)

From ONETEEM with love 💜
